Tirhani presents the following full qualifications, but the unit standards in the qualifications can also presented in the form of Skills programmes or as an individual unit standards, according to client requirements. The industry experiences a huge shortage of highly skilled for managerial and professional positions. This can only be dealt with if more learners embark on further studies such as at Saasveld or Stellenbosch University. The bridging course will provide the mentioned institutions with desperately needed students in Wood Technology as well as students that are better equipped to ensure successful studies. The programme will be a one year programme in which the learners will obtain theoretical as well as practical skills.
